MULTI STATION REEL TO REEL LAMINATOR
SKU: TEST STRIP MANUFACTURING 219005AZCO’s multi-lane laminating system with cut-to-length module enables you to manufacture test strips from raw material. Included is an unwind system, rewind, laminate, print area and cut to length station.
- A total of six rolls are in a combination of unwinding and rewinding.
- A base material is the carrier which is guided by both fixed and adjustable guides.
- Three rolls of material are guided by idler rollers onto the carrier.
- A rewinder rewinds the release liner of an adhesive layer.
- As the material continues on, it is laminated onto the exposed adhesive layer.
- A nip roll station secures the material to the base.
- The top idler roller has adjustable preload to provide precision force on the lamination.
- An optional printing section is provided.
- From the print section, the material advances by the driven rollers.
- The material makes a loop which is sensed by an optic loop sensor.
- If material is present in the loop, the cut to length station feeds and cuts strips to set length.
